The Site Supervisor role involves working within Christie Technical Services Organisation and with client representatives to coordinate installation activities in the least intrusive manner to minimize disruption of ongoing business activities.

The Site Supervisor role is a hands-on position where the successful individual will be completing and supervising on site installation activities at our customers, partners and end users premises.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished leader as part of a team with extensive visual solution installation experience. They will be calm under pressure, have excellent interpersonal skills and possess an ability to think innovatively to bring solutions for problems forward.

Knowledge of ours or our competitors’ products and of industry installation practices is essential but full training on Christie products will be given. This role is varied and will involve international travel to visits customer sites and will provide the opportunity to attend trade shows for build, both in the UK and abroad. A full up to date passport and car driving license is therefore necessary.

Further industry training in related products and achievement of industry recognised qualifications, such as Infocomm’s CTS-D as well as internal product training are also requirements of this position.

A company vehicle will be provided.
Key Responsibilities

Lead on site Installation teams

Work with assigned team to meet installation schedules provided by the Implementation team.

Supervise third party vendors who support the integration, installation and other deployment activities required to effectively execute installation projects/deployments.

Maintain open communication with Project Management and coordinators to ensure continuity and success in each project.

Assist Project Management to identify appropriate equipment, special materials and modifications required to complete installation

Complete the equipment installation process according to scripts and schedules provided by the implementation team.

Inform project management with continuous updates on progress and issues.
Education and Training

Recognised Qualifications in Electronics or industry related subject, higher GNVQ III / ONC or higher

Good general education, demonstrating the ability and willingness to learn

Excellent Verbal and written communication skills

Skills and Experience

Av solutions installation experience

Excellent IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office and Windows

Networking knowledge desirable

Work experience in industry with Christie Partners using Christie or competitor equipment useful although full training given


This role is based in our Wokingham office, however travel to other countries will be part of the role therefore a full current Passport and Car driving license is required
